XIII Festival Internacional de BD de Beja, 2017

O XIII Festival Internacional de BD de Beja inaugurou no passado dia 26, às 21h, no novo núcleo do evento, o Pax Julia Teatro Municipal. Prosseguindo com visitas às mostras patentes no centro histórico da cidade, a festa continua até às 4h00, com a abertura das Tasquinhas da BD, do Mercado do Livro e das Lojas temporárias, e com a realização dos Concertos Desenhados.


No sábado, dia 27 de Junho, participei na programação junto com Daniel Maia, com o lançamento do livreto de estreia da Aurora Boreal e antevisão da banda desenhada O Infante Portugal, ambos criados/escritos por José de Matos-Cruz, a que se seguiu sessão de autógrafos no Mercado do Livro (18h00–19h30), e conversa sobre BD, na cafetaria do Pax Julia, Teatro Municipal de Beja (21h00–21h30).


 O festival prolongar-se até dia 11 de Junho, com exposições no Teatro Municipal (PAX JULIA), onde destaco as exposições de Grazia La Padula, Juan Giménez, Anne-Caroline Pandolfo & Terkel Risbjerg; no Museu Regional de Beja, com Flávio Luiz; no Museu Regional de Beja - Núcleo da rua dos infantes, Galeria da rua das lojas, e por final na Galeria dos Escudeiros onde está patente a exposição com trabalhos de Pasqual Ferry, meus e de Daniel Maia alusivos ao livreto "Aurora Boreal e o Instinto Supremo" e à ante-visão da banda desenhada O Infante Portugal.


The XIII Beja Comics Festival started June 27, at 21pm, in the event's new center, the Pax Julia City Theater. Following the tour of the exhibits throughout the town's historical center, the party continues until 4am, with the opening of the Food Stands, the Book Market and temporary Stores, and also the Drawn Concerts.
On saturday, June 27th, I partaked in the activities alongside Daniel Maia, with the release of Aurora Boreal's debut booklet and preview for The Infante Portugal comic-book, both created/written by José de Matos-Cruz, which is followed by an autograph session at the Book Market (18–19:30pm), and a talk about comics, at Pax Julia's caffeteria (21–21:30pm).
The festival will continue until June 11, with exhibitions at the Municipal Theater (PAX JULIA), where I highlight the exhibitions of Grazia La Padula, Juan Giménez, Anne-Caroline Pandolfo and Terkel Risbjerg; In the Regional Museum of Beja, with Flávio Luiz; In the Regional Museum of Beja - Núcleo dos Infantes Street, Gallery of the Street of the Shops, and finally in the Gallery of the Squires,  with works by Pasqual Ferry, mine and Daniel Maia alluding to the booklet "Aurora Borealis and Instinct Supreme "and the ante-vision of the comic strip" O Infante Portugal ".
